I recently had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with To Have and To Hold magazine on a truly magical wedding photoshoot at the stunning Craufurdland Castle.

The project began when I was contacted by the renowned Scottish model, Gilly Cheung, who asked if I could create something special for the shoot, giant paper flowers that would make a real statement. Gilly’s only request was simple but exciting: “make them as big as they can be!”

I took on the challenge and managed to craft flowers over 1 metre in length, the largest paper flowers I have ever created to date. Seeing them come to life in the grand setting of the castle was an incredible moment.
The shoot itself was a collaboration of some of Scotland’s most talented wedding suppliers:
Leigh Blaney – Makeup Artist @makeupbyleighblaney
Saturn Studio Glasgow – Hair Stylist @saturnstudioglasgow
Hames Porter and Son Jewellers- @jamesporterandsondiamonds
A Curious Arrangement – Florist @acuriousarrangement
June Brides Glasgow – Bridalwear @junebridesglasgow
Carol James Cakes – Wedding Cakes @caroljamescakedesign
Everything came together beautifully, and the whole day was documented by an amazing creative team: the talented Lena Salaba behind the camera, Michael Wescott Films capturing stunning video, and Happily Ever After Content Creator ensuring every detail was shared in its best light.

After a long but rewarding day of shooting, we were all treated to a slice of Carol Jackson’s gorgeous cake, and let me tell you, it tasted just as incredible as it looked!
This collaboration was such a joy from start to finish, and I’m so proud to have been part of such an inspiring team at such a breath-taking venue. Creating the largest paper flowers I’ve ever made for this shoot will always be a highlight in my journey, and I can’t wait to see the full feature in To Have and To Hold magazine. https://tohavetoholdscotland.co.uk/magzines/issue-70-sept-oct-2025-issue/
